NCL's Norwegian Sky Cruise Ship

Image
NORWEGIAN SKY EMBARKATION: We drove to Miami and after parking in the parking garage (which was just across from the ship), we rolled out luggage to the porters, tipped them, and once we entered the building, we were on the ship within what appeared as just minutes. We've always been pleased with NCL's embarkation process. STATEROOM: We had a balcony room on deck 9. Small balconies, but they suited their purpose. We were on the portside, and we noticed that the chairs on the starboard side are newer than the ones on our side. We had the little aluminum chairs. They're not comfortable, but we spent most of our time leaning on the balcony anyways. Bed was very comfortable, and room was always kept clean. Pictures on the wall didn't seem to go with the decor in the room, but at least some picture was better than no picture at all. lol DINING: We are strictly buffet people. We've seen a lot of buffets on a variety of different cruise ships with different cruise lines, a

Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas Cruise Ship

MAJESTY OF THE SEAS Our very first cruise that we ever went on, was Royal Caribbean's beautiful Majesty of the Seas. Come along with me, as I discuss what it was like on our very first cruise. EMBARKATION: We arrived around noon. Getting on the ship went very smoothly. Was on the ship in a matter of minutes. SHIP INFO: Majesty was just as beautiful this time as she was the first time we sailed on her. STATEROOM: We were already aware that the staterooms on Majesty are very small, and with us having 2 adults and 2 teenagers in the same room, it made it even smaller. But we adjusted and coped and everything worked out fine. Since my husband and I were up earlier than the kids, then we were able to shower and get out of the room, to allow them time to shower and get dressed. Then we just met in Windjammers from breakfast. ACTIVITIES: We did not hear the numerous announcements of BINGO this time as we did the last. They had Bingo, but just didn't seem to push it in your face this t

The Beautiful Caribbean Princess Cruise Ship

CARIBBEAN PRINCESS CRUISE SHIP We've been on several cruises and we decided to cruise Princess Cruise Lines for the very first time. We are so glad that we did, and so far, no other cruise line has compared up to Princess. This is my review of our 3 day cruise to the Bahamas on the beautiful Caribbean Princess. We've been on many cruises with various cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. We live in Florida, so when we see a good deal, we grab it up and leave. ;) EMBARKATION: Went very smoothly, and was on the ship in a matter of minutes. SHIP INFORMATION: Caribbean Princess is an absolutely beautiful ship, and even though she hadn't been in dry dock for quite some time when we cruised on her, she was still in good condition. Even though there were areas whre the carpeting could be replaced, it's still an absolute gorgeous ship. SERVICE: Everyone was very pleasant and the stateroom attendant greeted us by name. We were surprised to find that there were

Review of the Cruise Ship - Norwegian Dawn

NORWEGIAN DAWN BUILT: 2002 REFURBISHED: 2005 WEIGHT: 92,250 tons REGISTERED: Bahamas LENGTH: 965 ft. BEAM: 105 ft. CAPACITY: 2,224 passengers DECKS: 14 We cruised on Norwegian Dawn on November 2007. This is my personal experience of our cruise on this beautiful ship. We arrived in Miami, Florida via a charter bus around 12:30pm. Embarkation was a little hectic, but only because of the large crowd that was waiting to get onboard. Reminded me of a busy day at a theme park while waiting in line to get on the best attraction ride at the park. Norwegian Dawn is a truly beautiful ship, inside and out. Her hull is decorated with the Statue of Liberty on one side, and a Dolphin on the other. Our oceanview stateroom (Deck 4 - stateroom 4576), had a porthole window. It was nice to be able to have natural light in the room during the day when the curtains were open. Our room was located only 2 doors down from the gangway. One day, the line to get off the ship
