We cruised on Norwegian Dawn on November 2007. This is my personal experience of our cruise on this beautiful ship.
We arrived in Miami, Florida via a charter bus around 12:30pm. Embarkation was a little hectic, but only because of the large crowd that was waiting to get onboard. Reminded me of a busy day at a theme park while waiting in line to get on the best attraction ride at the park.

Norwegian Dawn is a truly beautiful ship, inside and out. Her hull is decorated with the Statue of Liberty on one side, and a Dolphin on the other.
Our oceanview stateroom (Deck 4 - stateroom 4576), had a porthole window. It was nice to be able to have natural light in the room during the day when the curtains were open.
Our room was located only 2 doors down from the gangway. One day, the line to get off the ship had gathered in our hall, but other than that one time, we found it very convenient to be able to get back on the ship, and be only a few yards away from our room.

The bathroom was small, but adequate, but we've never had a room on any of the cruises we've been on that have a large bathroom. Plus, how long do you plan on being in the bathroom anyways?
We received towel animals every night, with chocolate mints as an added touch. Our stateroom attendant greeted us with a smile every time we seen him, and we were treated with absolute kindness during the entire trip.

EXPLORING THE SHIP
The Atrium is the center-point of this ship, and it's absolutely beautiful with it's glass elevators.

Stardust Theater is where all the shows were held. There was a 7:30pm and a 9:30pm show. One of the shows that we seen was themed around the 1970s.
Dazzles Nightclub had a comedian that performed there on several nights that was really good. Dazzles is a nice place to sit and have a drink too.

There is numerous places to eat on Dawn, but we chose to make use of the Buffet Garden Cafe), the most. We also ate at the Blue Lagoon Cafe a few evenings, and they had good food. My husband got fish and chips, and I got a chinese dish.
There is also a beautiful casino on board, and even though we spent a few bucks there, we still have a fun time.

POOLSIDE

There are 3 pools on Dawn. We unfortunately had rough seas, and a lot of the time, the pools were closed. The children's pool area is located at the Aft section of the ship, and is decorated with dinosaurs. Palm trees light up at night around the pool area and the view, is absolutely stunning with all the lights.
Our itinerary took us to the Caribbean. We were suppose to visit NCL's private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, however, due to the weather, we were forced to dock at Nassau in the Bahamas.
Here was our Itinerary:
